They can set their referral policy. Example: A NIAX roofer will pay the 10% on the first business up to a cap of $20K. That way, if they are referred a $50K job and they receive the first payments, they’ll give 10% up to whatever that payment was, capped at $20K. Therefore, the money paid as a referral thank you is no more than $2000. That can be normal for industries like Commercial Roofing. Other industries can have smaller jobs, so the referral monies paid for the first closed/paid business can be less than $100. Still… that is mailbox money. Note, some industries cannot pay or receive referral monies. NIAX can take that as 0%.

Please note that of the referral monies paid, Stripe takes a piece for processing costs and NIA brand takes a piece for maintaining the software and the cost of troubleshooting issues. A small portion is shared to the local NIA/NIAX owner to pay for the sheer amount of work in pulling together greater numbers of members and NIAXer referral partners.
